Rolex – Innovation and Prestige
The company was founded in 1905 in London by Alfred Davis and his brother in law, German Hans Wilsdorf, as “Wilsdorf and Davis”. In 1908, Wilsdorf moved to Switzerland, where the company opened an office in La Chaux-de-Fonds and registers the trademark “Rolex”. Then, in 1919, they move to Geneva, where the headquarters remained until today. Here are manufactured over 2,000 watches per day. Rolex remains the brand of luxury watches that are worn by the most prestigious personalities. Several names: Paul Newman, Eric Clapton, Placido Domingo, Sir Edmund Hillary – the conqueror of Everest, mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli of Italian origin, the golfer Jack Nicklaus William, tenis players Roger Federer and Andy Roddick the skier Hermann Maier and many others.

Omega and James Bond
Since the early 20th century Omega has remained one of the most popular watch brands and one of the best known in the world. The company was founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt.
The first Omega wristwatches were created for British officers in the Boer War in South Africa (1899-1903). The brand was also adopted by the British and American officers during the First World War and by the British Royal Air Force during the Second World War. Omega Speedmaster, the watch of James Bond (since 1995, when Pierce Brosnan began his role in the film “Golden Eye” and wore an Omega Seamaster Professional Quartz – 2541.80.00). This is also the watch that has participated in the Odyssey Apollo XIII and docking of the Apollo ships (SUA) and Soyuz (USSR).
Of course, Omega is a Swiss brand and a symbol of prosperity and good taste.

TAG Heuer – Haute Couture of watches
Tag Heuer is one of the most prestigious companies which designs, manufactures and sells luxury watches.
In 1860 Edouard Heuer founded his first watch store in the small village of St. Imier in Switzerland under the name Uhrenmanufaktur Heuer AG. In 1885 the company was bought by Vanguard Techniques and became TAG Heuer. According to the company slogan, “Swiss Avant-Garde since 1860″, TAG Heuer collections are the Formula 1, Carrera, Grand Carrera and Monaco. But not only. Since the 1910s, Heuer has already begun working with any company car and airoplanes, the timer for dashboards for cars and planes being created by TAG Heuer. But not only cars and airoplanes have the advantage of working with TAG Heuer. In 1962 a “Tag Heuer” became the first Swiss watch worn into space by John Glenn who piloted “Mercury Atlas 6″. This historic part can be found today at the Air Museum and the San Diego Area.
Now TAG Heuer is concerned with the marketing of items of fashion, eyewear, electronics and many others, which are not manufactured by Tag Heuer but carry its logo. However, the name TAG Heur is related especially to its precise and precious watches that are produced from scratch.

Breitling – luxury and Swiss precision
In 2014 Breitling celebrated 130 years of prodigious activity in the meticulous and the wonderful world of watchmaking. Leon Breitling was the one who established in 1884 the private company Breitling SA in Grenchen, Canton of Solothurn, Switzerland. The company was renamed “Leon G. Breitling SA Montbrillant Watch Manufactory”. Breitling has created designs for three categories of activities: SuperOcean – perfect waterproof watches for diving, Navitimer – complicated mechanisms for aviation and Breitling for Bentley – luxury watches for special events. There is still a model called Breitling Emergency, created for aviation and also for the army, which contains a radio transmitter having a frequency used in military aviation in a special frequency.
Breitling is the mark of businessmen and men of action, too.

Cartier, the luxury accessories brand
The brand bears the name of Louis-François Cartier, a jeweler's apprentice who, in 1847, became the owner of the jewelery shop located across the street no.29 Montorgueil, Paris, and moved in 1859 on the Boulevard of the Italians in the heart of the artistic Paris. Over time, the Cartier family became the supplier of royal courts in Europe, many celebrities and big businessmen like Rockefeller, Ford and others. Very happy with his performance, King Edward VII of England called Louis-François Cartier as “the jeweler of kings and king of jewelers”. As a mark of jewels, Cartier realized in 1888 its first ladies wristwatch signed Cartier, as a true jewel. Cartier was and remains a success. In 1904 the famous watch Santos was created in honor of Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos. In 1917 the famous Tank watches, inspired by caterpillars of tanks Allies who defeated the Germans in the First World War. And others. And others. In 1914 was introduced the motif of the panther, which has remained a symbol for all Cartier creations.
Cartier, being the name of elegance, refinement and luxury that's why Cartier watches have been adopted by many stars: Angelina Jolie, Monica Belluci, Zac Efron, etc.
